The Most Collectible Anime Series of All Time
Posted by Eric Meyer on Aug 22nd 2026
Hey, Eric from Ice Imports here.
I've been selling this stuff for over twenty years now. I've watched trends come and go, seen certain series explode and then cool off, and watched a handful stick around so hard that people keep coming back years later looking for more. When I say “most collectible,” I’m not talking pure hype or internet lists. I’m talking about the series that sell, the ones people actually build rooms around, and the ones that keep showing up in customer collections long after the initial wave.
Here’s my thoughts, based on what items walk out of our shops and what people ask about.
One Piece
This one doesn’t quit. Zoro’s swords in particular never really left the conversation; they faded for a minute, now everyone's asking again. People are coming in looking for solid replicas they can display. The world is massive, the character designs hold up, and the sweet merch keeps coming. It’s the series a lot of people grow into rather than age out of. If you’ve got wall space and want something that feels permanent, One Piece pieces tend to stay put.
Berserk
Quiet but serious collectors, I was shocked at how well these sold when we first got them in. The Dragon Slayer is one of those items that people buy because it’s just so rare to see. When someone picks it up, they are already calculating how to display it. (Check our other articles). The series has that dark, detailed vibe that makes people treat the swords with more care. It’s not the loudest franchise out there, but the people who dig it, dig it hard.
Final Fantasy
Cloud’s Buster Sword with Gems gets a lot attention; a lot of anime fans cross over hard into this one. The design is iconic, the size is bonkers, and it photographs SUPER well. Same goes for a lot of the fantasy greatswords we carry. We cycle others in and out, but the Buster Sword is a staple. These aren’t pure “anime only,” but the overlap with the anime crowd is huge.
Solo Leveling
This one took off fast and stayed strong. The Kamishi’s Wrath pieces move consistently. Newer series sometimes fade after the first big season, but Solo Leveling has that clean power-fantasy look that translates really well into physical displays. A lot of people who started with it end up expanding into other action titles afterward.
Demon Slayer, Naruto, and the Big Classics
These three still own a lot of shelf space in our stores and in customers' rooms. Sunlight-style blades, Zoro-adjacent katanas, and classic ninja gear keep selling. Demon Slayer especially brought a wave of people into the stores who had never bought a display sword before, it was crazy to see how popular it was. The animation quality and character designs made the items feel worth the space and money.
The Ones That Never Fully Die
Attack on Titan still has dedicated fans out there, Dragon Ball remains the gateway series for a ton of people who later branch out, honestly anything with a strong, recognizable weapon tends to hold value better than pure figure-only lines. People like swords…
What makes a series truly collectible, at least from where I sit, is staying power. The ones that still get asked about five or ten years later. The ones people upgrade from cheap plastic versions to badass replicas. The ones that end up as the centerpiece of a room instead of something that gets looked at then, boxed up after the next new show drops.
If you’re building or expanding a collection, the smart move is usually to go with the series you actually rewatch and still care about. Trends come and go, the pieces that stay on the wall are the ones tied to stories that really resonated with you.
Swing by any of the shops if you want to see what we have, in person, or check our site. We’ve got free shipping on orders over $35.
What series are you still collecting hard for these days? What ones should we carry that we don't? Tell us on our socials.
